Revolution activity weeks are a great opportunity to take young people out for a week of day trips during the school holidays.
The day trips open them up to a wide range of experiences: the seaside, activity centres, bowling, golf, laser questing. They also build them up as individuals, developing their confidence, their ability to work with others in a team, and their skills at meeting and getting on with new people.
The trips are staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers with a passion for youth work. They act as positive role models to the young people and get alongside them building relationships over the week as well as creating space to discuss issues such as positive citizenship and the personal challenges that young people may be facing.
We also take groups of young people away on three or four day residential trips to places including the Lake District and Derbyshire where they are given the chance to try new outdoor adventure pursuits and can experience the benefits of a few days away from their usual environment.
