what we do

School Work

We have over 18 years of experience of working in schools from when N-Gage was first founded by Christie Spurling MBE in 2006 in response to his own experiences of educational exclusion. Getting alongside students who are disengaged from education and are at risk of exclusion is at the heart of what we do. Our approach has led to dramatic improvements both in behaviour and school participation. Over the years we have been trusted to work with hundreds of pupils in schools across Greater Manchester and Cheshire

See how we work with schools to help our young people.

Long term Intervention

1-2-1 Mentoring Sessions

These 1-2-1 sessions are helpful to students who are disengaged with schools, lessons, and education, through disruptive behaviour or lack of attendance. It gives them the opportunity to speak to someone outside of their school environment who they can trust. Our mentors will spend time getting to know each student, seeing what issues they are dealing with at school and at home, and helping them to re-engage with education
